About Samsara

Samsara is a New York City–based group working at the seam between rock/pop songwriting and electronic texture. Their sets have circulated through the small-room circuit at venues including Arlene’s Grocery, Mercury Lounge, and the Knitting Factory, often on multi-band bills with acts such as Lolux, Higbee, Nihiloceros, Daisymaker, Camisole, Don’t Tell Iris, Rohna, and Warphole. The band favors tight ensemble playing and structured grooves, keeping attention on the song rather than studio gloss. Live performance is treated as the primary proving ground.
