The Buena Vista Orchestra: Rock Band in New York

About The Buena Vista Orchestra

The Buena Vista Orchestra is a group that brings Cuban-rooted repertoire into a rock/pop concert frame, emphasizing tight ensemble work and song-forward arrangements. Their New York City appearances include Town Hall, where they have been presented in events such as “LPR Presents: The Buena Vista Orchestra.” The project draws on the legacy associated with the Buena Vista Orchestra name, foregrounding veteran musicianship and a dance-band sense of timing. Their performances favor rhythmic clarity over spectacle.
