About Everclear

Everclear is an American rock band founded in Portland in 1992 by singer, guitarist, and principal songwriter Art Alexakis. The group broke into the mainstream in the mid-to-late 1990s with a run of platinum-selling albums that established their blend of alternative rock and pop-leaning hooks. Lineup changes followed the early-2000s releases, with Alexakis remaining the central voice and architect. On stage, including appearances at New York–area rooms like Starland Ballroom, the band favors direct songcraft over spectacle.
