Bullseye: Performing Group in New York

About Bullseye

Bullseye is a group working in free-form performance, often aligned with alternative hip hop’s rhythmic instincts but willing to let structure dissolve. In New York City they appear at Cassette, including the venue’s KARAOKE NIGHT series, where familiar song formats are treated as prompts for improvisation. Their sets move between electronic detail and room-responsive texture, with pacing doing much of the work. They have shared bills with Carlos Truly, Dhemo, Key Hutch, Miles Hewitt, Andy Nicholl, Drawl, Slow Down Sunny, and Untitled Freak.
