FUNSUCKER: Rock Band in New York

About FUNSUCKER

FUNSUCKER is a group working in Free music, with a regular connection to New York City’s Cassette. Their sets often move between open improvisation and abrupt, song-like turns, shaped in real time rather than rehearsed into a fixed form. They’ve shared bills with TASHA, Jachary, TALK BAZAAR, Anand Wilder, Babas, Ravi Shavi, the Ken Kobayashi Project, and Max Hoffman, placing them in a cross-scene network of experimental performers. In events such as KARAOKE NIGHT, the approach favors structure-by-accident over spectacle.
