Sophie: Comedian in New York

About Sophie

Sophie is an English comedian, writer, and screen performer whose work moves between stand-up, character pieces, and scripted storytelling. She is best known for creating and starring in the BBC sitcom *Alma’s Not Normal*, which has earned multiple BAFTA wins, and she also works as a presenter and narrator. In New York City she appears on comedy bills at venues including Union Hall, and in mixed lineups alongside acts such as IO and the Late Bloomers character showcase. Her performances favor plainspoken detail and controlled escalation over flash.
