amita: Comedian in New York

About amita

amita is a New York City–based electronic artist and DJ, heard in venues including Reforesters Laboratory, Mood Ring, and Honeys. Their work sits between live electronics and club structures, with sets built from texture, negative space, and slow changes in intensity. They have shared bills with artists such as Callosum, Purelink, Eden Aurelius, Lydo, Victoria Keddie, and Metamyther, moving easily between listening-room contexts and nightlife lineups. The performances favor clarity over spectacle, keeping attention on sound as a physical event.
