John Dorney: Singer-Songwriter in New York

About John Dorney

John Dorney is a New York City–based artist working across rock/pop and electronic forms. He has appeared on bills at venues including the Knitting Factory, Baby’s All Right, and Cassette, alongside artists such as The Roomtones, Paul Babe, Carlos Truly, and Drawl. His sets tend to emphasize tight structures and textural shifts rather than extended spectacle. With a small but steady Spotify following, he moves between band contexts and flexible formats like Cassette’s karaoke-focused nights.
